Accessing voicemail from landline?

I am getting low on minutes, and I don't want to use up minutes checking my voicemails. I have Virgin Mobile, and I of course have the Curve.
I used to be able to use a landline to call my cellphone to check any voicemails I had when I was on Verizon or Sprint. Is this not possible anymore?
Or am I totally blind and there is a simple way to do it and I can't see it?

I don't know of any way to do this. I suggest calling VM and asking. Let us know what they tell you. If it is possible, this information could come in handy.
