If upon release to the market, the direction of the Pre turns out to be as successful as the direction that Obama is headed in -- then I *will* be buying a BB Bold. Or whatever version of BB happens to be around in a few months. That is to say: if the economy doesn't totally collapse in the meantime -- and RIM, Palm, and all of the various carrier service companies go out of business due to being taxed to death.
I dunno, though -- maybe they'll nationalize the entire industry, and give us our smartphones + service for "free". For as long as such a system can sustain itself.

I don't know about all that, but I'm getting the Pre as soon as it's released! I'll keep my BB as my work line (it's too reliable not to), but the Pre is going to be my new toy.
pre will be mine as well. smart man 1 2 many, unlike all the people on here that rave about their curves being so amazing while they don't realize they're using mostly 4 year old software.
