Default WIND network Blackberry Bold 9700 - to Australia?

Hey,

So I'm looking at buying a WIND mobile Blackberry Bold 9700 today, but I'm only here for 2 years on a working visa from Australia & I just want to make sure that when I return to Australia, the WIND network 9700 is going to be able to be used on Australian networks.. Just curious because I know a Rogers phone is a different network to the WIND network, and it got me thinking whether it would be able to work in Australia or not..

WIND is on the 1700/2100 if that helps.. Same as T-Mobile?

Thanks!

probably not, no, we have a few main carriers down under, including telstra (t-mobile australia) optus, virgin, vodaphone and 3, i recommend telstra, fastest intermet and the cheapest texts
