Using local Sim in Spain with Peruvian BIS account
Hello, my aunt is travelling to Spain with her Unlocked 8520 from Claro Peru with BIS activated.
The thing is, she wants to use a local prepaid sim card with unlimited BIS from Vodafone ES for the week she will be there. Roaming charges from Claro is $20 per day in Spain... not so cheap.
Will she be able to use her Claro BIS account (BBM, email, facebook, etc) with the Vodafone sim card? I read something that if she insert a different sim with BIS, the original service books gets deleted and replaced with the ones from the new carrier. Of course this will affect how her phone works. And setup a new BIS account with Vodafone will be impossible because the PIN is attached to Claro.
Uhm... I just want to know, is it true that service books gets replaced?, BIS services will continue to work as normal using the Vodafone sim (with BIS enabled)? or, it will not work at all?
