I have an 8530 and an 8330 and an 8703e. Are operating system downloads pnone specific, or platform specific? For instance, could I install an OS for an 8310 on the 8703e? Or the OS for a Bold 9000 on an 8330? If you have done this, please let me know.

Part of the reason I am asking is that I would like to use the downloads on Cellcom's Israel BlackBerry site. They don't have a download for an 8330 or an 8530. Are there maybe other Israeli providers who do?

And, I used to have Hebrew on my 8330 as an input language, but after an update, it is gone. I forgot how I got it on there in the first place. If you know now to do it, please let me know.

OS is device specific.
