Default Orange UK - Data, what's chargable?

I am on Orange UK and whenever I ring CS I get a different answer to my question.

Basically, I am on a Panther package which includes the BIS bundle but no extra data.

I want to know what other data could be chargable?

If there is other chargable data, can I setup my Blackberry so that it never uses this particular protocol and just uses the data that I have paid for (have a bundle for)

Thanks.

Dont qoute me on this 'cause I'm no expert..if you use WAP orange charge for it over and above your data plan..I think! (how much data does your panther plan give you,I'm on dolphin with unlimited internet/e-mail capped at 500mb fair usage)

Not much help I know

If you dont know your using it I guess your just using BIS..WAP is set from browser configuration..surprised you not sure how much data your plan gives you,I would suspect your on 250MB if your a new BB user with orange..you'd be hard pressed to use 250MB in a month unless your on the internet and e-mailing 24/7!
As I say I'm no expert..just going from expirience.I had 250 MB with my first BB on orange..why not ask orange how much data you have? dont use WAP and I think you wont incur any other charges

So if I'm watching a YouTube video or other streaming such as TVC how would I know if it's BIS or not?

Thanks.

I think,if you have a data plan, that it is BIS..that's how you get the internet..beware streaming uses a **** of a lot of data! why not try the "ask Frank in England" thread..he's very helpful.
