Orange - 9900 and Panther 41 but no BIS?
I upgraded my phone at the start of December. Moved from the 9700 to the 9900 and got a good deal on the Panther 41 plan.
I was told that the Panther plan would start on 1st Jan and I would receive a text to say that i would then be able to chose my swapables.
At midnight I received a text, deleted it, turned my phone off.
When it restarted it had gprs (not GPRS). Thought I would leave it a while.
When I checked again this morning still gprs.
I phoned Orange CS, who after a while worked out that I don't have the 'Blackberry plan' associated with my phone. They then asked has I requested it?
I then explained that I upgraded from a Blackberry to a Blackberry, I would have assumed that this was included in the plan.
CS the spoke to billing, who agreed that they would give me a Blackberry plan and waive the £5 a month charge.
This cannot be added to my account until tomorrow, so have no BBM etc until then.
Has anyone else had this issue? Who is correct, is BIS included in the plan or should I be grateful that they are not charging me the £5 per month.
Regards
Trevor
