hi folks i have Bold 1 and due my upgrade in next few weeks. I don't really use my mins as most of the folk I speak to regular are on my Magic numbers. I actually use my phone more for social networking than making calls - haha! Basically I figured out I am pissing a load of money down the toilet on Dolphin 35. The Orange 15 tariff would be ideal for me but I am guessing they would kick up a stink about giving me the Bold 2 even though I've been a loyal contract customer for over 10years. anyone had any success with this or tips on what I might say to them short of treating to go elsewhere? cheers in advance.

From the luck I have had on the Bold 9700 and upgrades I would say you would have better luck taking out a new number if you dont need to keep your old one.

I rang up yesterday to terminate two contracts and disconnections didnt even ask why, the rep put me through and the guy said good morning Mr ...... I understand you would like to disconnect xxxxxx xxxxxxx, thats correct says me, Ok your disconnection date will be 25th March, anything else I can help you with

thanks for the feedback. am also reluctant to change number if i don't need to. may bob in to a cpw tomorrow and see what they have to say. got my current phone from them unbranded.
