Default OK.. Seriously.. It affects us also...

Why is Lightsquared being nailed with interference issues over a test that involved a 15x power usage for transmittal? Do you think your mobile device would make the "smart decision" and allot that much power and usage to the send/receive? 15x.. really?

No body? You have gotta be kidding me...

Edit: OK, do you think your mobile's battery has enough juice to interfere with GPS devices on a 15x power scale?

Tests show that lightsquare interfere w/ GPS. I think the question should be why is the whitehouse in such favor of using lightsquared when so much of our military technology depends on gps? What is in it for Obama when clearly our military leaders don't want it.

15x power is the key... I want data faster and more readily available... But they're not going to be juicing up their towers that high... Not even Mexico goes up that much and they're extremely amped up...

Testing showed that the interference affected 75% of GPS devices tested. Lightsquared admits that even at the lower power that they plan to operate at it will still interfere with 10% of devices out there. So is Lightsquared going to pay to fix or replace the 10% of devices that will still affected? I see nothing wrong with making Lightsquared not interfere and the engineers should have figured this out and/or caught it long ago. It appears to me that they just want to ram a flawed solution out and let people with devices that it causes interference to deal with the consequences. There is plenty of unused spectrum out there that doesn't interfere so that should be used until Lightsquared figures out how to make there technology co-exist with technology that has been on the market for much longer.
