NOTIFICATION OF MAINTENANCE TO THE O2 3G NETWORK

We’re modernising our network and upgrading the 3G sites in every town, city and rural area north of Birmingham to the latest kit. We’ll be working on our 3G network in North Scotland (Arbroath, Forfar, Fort William, Inverness, Peterhead, Highlands and Islands) from 17 October 2011 to 28 October 2011 (over 2 weeks).

This means you might not get 3G from half a day up to all day, depending on where you are.

In most areas you can still use 2G, but data services (like the internet) might be slower. We’ve planned the work so that any disruption is kept to a minimum. We’ll be doing the work from Monday to Friday during the normal working day.
