How do you tell between the 2 Blackberrys

I was going to buy a Blackberry bold 9780 white but I wasn't sure if it is a Blackberry 9700 or its a 9780 is there a way to know by just looking at the blackberry?

Not by *looking* at it no -- but popping the battery cover off and looking under the battery will tell you, that is of course besides the obvious point of looking at the about screen.
