Default Help with orange PLEASE!

On tuesday I decided I was going to upgrade my phone, I recently finished college and didn't have any income so wanted a cheaper contract from my "so called" 45 pound a month contract.

First off when I got my old contract orange had EVER so nicely stuck a bolt on my phone for an axtra £5 without telling me and I was actually paying for it for a few months being confused to why it was more and when I went online to check my bolt ons it would never tell me what mine where!
Thats the first thing that annoyed me and made me think twice about upgrading WITH orange, but my sister has a blackberry for £20 a month with the £5 bolt on for internet and she said hers is fine and great.

So I decided get her help me with my online upgrade to make sure I got the same tarrif etc as her.

I selected the blackberry bold and Dolphin 20 which is £20 a month!

My phone arrived the day after and when I rang up to register my sim the man was USELESS! Instead of registering he INSISTED I had put my simcard in wrong!? Even though I was telling him it needed to be registered!

So day later I rang again and THANKFULLY got someone else who KNEW what I was going on about! The sim was activated around 2 hours later.
Now I logged onto orange to check my tarrif and it said my old tarrif BUT i was due to pay for my last tarrif so I thought it would change after the payment.

But low and behold it hasnt! Instead it says Dolphin 35 and the end date is 2099!!! WTF? I thought it might be a fault with the website so I rang 150 for listen to my info and it says I have 500 free minutes WHICH is WITH Dolphin 35 NOT 20!
Dolphin 20 has 100 minutes! AND THAT the man I rang up had added a photomessage thing even though I told him no!!
So now I apparently have a tarrif and bolt on I neither asked for or wanted!

Why hasnt orange changed my tarrif to my new one after 4 days!?
I sick of ringing up orange Im just going to go instore and if they dont change it im telling them to cancel it! I have 7 days to cancel on new contract so I will if they wont sort it out!

Anyone else ever had this happen?

Yeah. I had this. (You in UK?) Took a few months but they got it right in the end. Tell them you want to be reimbursed for the difference for any duration it will take to change over. I have this issue every upgrade. This seems to be another thing they cannot get right. Dunno why I stay but after a good winge they usually give me some bill credits!

Hi

There's no point into coming into an Orange Shop as we won't be able to help you. Our systems are different than online/telephone, so all we'd be able to do is advise you to contact 150 unfortunately.

Although we are the same company, we are different channels; Orange Retail and Orange Direct

Sorry for your experience, you may want to cancel the contract over the phone, and depending on your UIC band you can get the handset for free in store, where we activate the phone, and (sometimes ) set the phone up for you there and then.

Don't listen to above person,if you go into an orange shop,kindly explain your situation and the guys in store will phone and help you sort it if you ask them to,its also our job to help customers dan-rg6 not tell everyone were 2 different channels(you are your right) but the companys having a massive focus on aligning the experience of customers through every orange channel you should know that if you read the intranet? and make sure they put you onto dolphin 20 w/ bberry services mate, bis is actually free on dolphin 20 and they should do that automatically for you.I hope you get this sorted mate I empathise with how annoyed you must be, let us know how you get on.
