Gibtel Carrier Issue's

I have a Bold 9700

I have recently moved to Gibraltar where I have a PAYG chip with Gibtel.

The contracts here are extortionate so I was going to stick to PAYG as there are a lot of free wireless places about and as I work from home I can connect there with no charges!!! Sound simple enough??

Problem!!! Gibtel will not provide my blackberry settings/ registration unless I pay £42 per month and all I would get with that is unlimited internet access, no minutes, texts nothing!! Absolute con!! So at present, I cannot get onto the internet, cannot access my wireless network/email/facebook/bb messenger etc without them registering/providing the settings.

My question is..........can I register with blackberry without them? By paying a one off fee or something? Or can I manually fix this issue?
