Data services in Poland?
I don't claim to know anything about this so can someone please help me out here.
I am leaving for Poland early next week and will be taking my unlocked Storm 9530 with me. After being used to contracts and data services over here in North America, the whole European way of using mobile phones is confusing me a bit, with all the SIM cards and topping up and such.
As far as I know Orange PL offers data services (BIS) but that is mainly for corporate customers and will cost me a similar amount to what I pay now here in Canada.
Is there any way I can do a 'pay as you go' type deal with data over in PL? Or what is my best option for having data services over there without paying out my *** for it?
My main reason for asking is that I have alot of my friends and family from N.A on BBM (and PIN) and would like to use that as a convenient way of communicating.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately any Pay'n'Go is not going to work with BIS/Blackberry services. As you mentioned Orange provides some solutions for Enterprise Customers. You can check with your carrier if they providing Unlimited roaming BIS - this option is available f.e. in o2 UK for some amount of money (not cheap but works). So your carrier may support you in that matter...
I just check with:
ERA GSM - they require signing contract to have BB services. No solutions for Pay'n'Go users,
Plus GSM - exactly the same - corporate customers, no Pay'n'Go support,
Play GSM - does not support Blackberry at all as far as I can see...
Orange.pl - again - they require signing contract for BIS/BES customers, no support for Pay'n'Go...
Those above are biggest Polish carriers - there is couple more but they are not real providers...
