Default Changing Cariers.... what needs to be done?

Hi

I am currently on Orange Pay as You Go, but now want to change to Tesco Pay as You Go due to the poor coverage I am getting with Orange, plus Tesco offer 1GB per month data instead of 50MB on Orange.

I know I will have to send a text to Orange to stop the BB service, but is there anything else I need to do? I keep seeing people refering to getting their PIN released, but is that just something that has to be done when you sell you Blackberry? - this bit confuses me...

Once I send my text to Orange to stop the Blackberry service, do I have to ask them to do anything else? I will obviously be asking them for my PAC because I want to keep my number.

Thank you

having your pin released from the carrier needs to be done... whether you're changing carriers / getting your phone sold (some sellers dont do this though) the idea is so that your bb wont get "locked" with the carrier that you currently have and so that once it has been "released" it can then be used and registered to another carriers BIS network....
