Blackberry torch 9800 using globe telecoms help please

Hello everyone, I recently switched from an iphone to a blackberry due to constant pressure from friends and family and i'm glad i made the change.

Now the problem, i have noticed that i have been losing signal ever since i bought the phone. I would get sms messages late and my phone will be unreachable eventhough my bars on signal is full. I always have to restart my phone using alt, up arrow key and delete BUT once i do the restart i get my signal back. I was just wondering if i have to setup my phone and what do i set it up with?

Any help and suggestion would be very much appreciated!

If you have installed any apps or such I would do a battery pull. Also do you have a strong 3G signal where you are having trouble?
