Question bb messenger on virgin sim card only ?
can anyone help please tried looking throught older posts but cant find answer to my question ... my daughter has a sim card only plan paid monthly on virgin she has asked for a blackberry curve for xmas but before i get her one i need to know if i can get the bb messenger on this plan or any other option to get it have tried ringing virgin but was a waste of time asked me to ring back 2moz as the person i spoke to didnt know ?

Scratch that post!
You need a plan that has "Unlimited Web Access" with it.
If you have that on it, it should allow your daughters BB to function properly.

ok i see she is on sim card only plan no web just mins and texts so looks like she wont be able to get bb messenger

Hi your best bet is to go for the £12 per month tariff advertised on the virginmobile.com website, offering a free Curve 8520, unlimited email and web, messenger, 250 text and 50 minutes.

This will work out much cheaper than buying the phone (which you will have to do if you are on PAYG) plus paying for your PAYG top ups.

Hope this helps her get her Xmas present!
