BB 9900 On Orange UK. 184.108.40.2064. Randomly ceases Cell connection.
Im new to this forum, but have been a Blackberry user for about 6yrs now.
I updated my BB 9900 on Orange UK to the latest Orange package 2 weeks ago.
220.127.116.114 Downloaded from the Service Providor Website, and applied to my BB Desktop. Then updated phone from the local copy.
Ever since this update, randomly, my phone seems to cease the Cell connection. The BB symbol goes off, and the indicator shows 3G. But no one can call me, and no emails come in. No web access etc..
Even if i have WiFi on (UMA).
It requires a Battery pull, to reboot the phone, and then it works just fine, for a day or two and the same thing happens again.
What do you recon ?. Backup phone, and security wipe, re-flash same firmware again ?.
