Hi. Could somebody tell me why the facebook application for BB10 is ignored by the developer? Or they don't know how to fix it up to be updated like any other Android. Please find a solution to update facebook, or at least allow this application to be downloaded from third party. Thank you

Again, no solution is going to be found on Crackberry, pester BlackBerry themselves..it's their App.

It seems no update will be provided until the new Priv and BlackBerry path is absolutely clear.

Do we know for sure where the issue lies? Is it BlackBerry or is it the api's that Facebook makes available to BlackBerry?

Either way, only BlackBerry are going to get to the bottom of the issue; it likely uses the Graph API, which I've used myself and is a complete pain.

If Facebook refuses to build a native app, BlackBerry can only use the tools that are available. What are you suggesting they do?

Either way it's quite annoying to use. It makes it actually unbearable to use when you constantly run into the "this post cannot be loaded"

I now have to use the website which is fine but it defeats the purpose of having the app to begin with. Before the small things could be ignored but now it's impossible to ignore.

The same thing for most of the social media apps...small things were OK and be justified but now it's making the BlackBerry experience challenging.

I don't want to switch to anything else but if this keeps up even I will have to make a choice on a good smartphone experience or continuing to tough it out. Hate iOS and Android is crap.

Other than Windows phone....Nothing else out there. I never thought I'd be one to complain about my BlackBerry but the experience is going down fast.

Pull the App from BBW then open up a ticket on developer.facebook.com and find out what the hell is going on?

I've downloaded facebook app from "9 apps" store. The facebook can get up to news feed wall but it cannot shows posts, my point to this is maybe you can modified the facebook app to completely work to our Api's issue.
