Default WAP browsing on 7290

So i decided to smack my SIM card into my old roommate's blackberry and was pleasantly surprised to be a new Blackberry user (sort of).

My question is, my current plan includes unlimited WAP browsing, do I still need a browsing service book from rogers to use this or can I just put the correct WAP settings in the TCP section and go? Secondly, if you plan to only use WAP, will Rogers give you an account on their web client with your current plan or do you HAVE to get a data plan?

I know there's a similar query that was never replied to, but I'm not looking to try to be sneaky with generic service books and all that. If I have to go in and switch the IMEI to my account so i can download a service book I'll just get in touch with the old roomie and do that, and if I have to switch to a data plan I'll just stay without browsing for now. This is purely for convenience (and not having to deal with the evil that is Rogers unless I have to).

(As you can tell, I've done a lot of research in the past couple days).

Thanks a lot!
