Default Transferring contacts from new blackberry to an old one

I had the Storm which worked fine for a while until it completely gave out. Fortunately I backed up everything. I got a Blackberry 7250 (Yes I know, I am backtracking but it was cheap replacement until I get a Droid X or even the Droid 2!). I have been trying to restore everything and it does kind of work until it's time to restore my contacts then it just gives me an error which is as follows.

Error restoring database(s)

[Default Service Selector] 0 of 3 entries restored

Can anyone help me? Thanks

UPDATE

I went in BACKUP AND RESTORE > ADVANCED and I get this error with the address book grayed out:

"Databases that are unavailable in the list have been configured for wireless synchronization or wireless backup and are read-only. You cannot restore or clear them."

I found a solution to it which is that you go under options > advanced options > service book and delete "Desktop [SYNC]"

I cannot find that option in my blackberry. Is it hidden somewhere or is there anything else I can do to ungray that item? thanks
