sim not provisioned :2

i just got a curve 8520 and its not working my signal is sayin SOS and it says SIM not provisioned:2 along the top centre what do i do???

You have posted in the wrong sub forum, is the 8520 locked to a network? Are you using a sim card from that network?

Can you exand on whther or not its unlocked and which network it is branded vs which network you're trying to operate it on.

Could possibly be your SIM card has not been activiated and linked to your account and that device. Also may be a hardware issue with the SIM reader in the device itself. I would suggest going to a local retail location and having check your account and try additional SIM cards to see if that resolves the problem.
