Red light flashing on BB 7280

Hey guys, long story short tried turning this on after like 3 years and
It didn't turn on, all it would do is have the red light at the top keep flashing.
Is it finally dead? Not a big loss but still lol, it was my first bb.
Anything I can do?

this has happened to me before and all i can say is that you don't need to worry.
the causes to this problem are often when you overcharge your phone or you've not charged it, if when you try to turn on your blackberry, a red light starts flashing and then goes off but the phone itself doesn't actually turn on, then all you need to do is...

1. Take your battery out
2. Put it back in
3. Plug your blackberry in the charger
4. Nothing will happen for 10 minutes or so, but once you see an icon of the blackberry being charged then your question is solved, just leave your phone in the charger.

If that doesn't work, then i'm not sure but i'm 90% sure it WILL work.
