Default Older BB pricing

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could provide retail pricing for the BlackBerry 7290 and 6280 devices when they were released. I'm going through the inventory of items at work, and have been unable to track down a value (for when they were new) for these two.

Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks.

Google has provided nothing useful unfortunately. Every price I've seen refers to someone selling on ebay/craigslist or similar. I've tried to track down product reviews, but they use pricing engines (not very useful when the product isn't sold through retail channels anymore), and don't mention the retail price for the device when released (probably because pricing is set by the carrier).

I believe it was near the end of 2004 on the 7290 release
but as for a price it's hard to say... It varies with each carrier
but 400-500 sounds about right.

Cingular's site on the Web Archive is pretty well broken. Same for AT&T Wireless.

Only price I could find for the 7290 was $299.99, circa April 2006.

Nothing for the 6280. So much for the Internet being a repository of all human knowledge and culture.

If you want an OLD device, Verizon will probably pay you to get one :P
