Not receiving some SMS messages

I'm using the 7730 and I had the same problem on my old 7230 - every now and then, my phone fails to receive a text. It simply just does not tell me anything - nothing comes through. Become quite frustrating. Could it be the firewall? Help anyone??

sms does not go through your data, so a firewall could only be an issue if your phone is through BES

sms goes directly via carrier network, maybe call them?
