Default No compose sms or mms on 7290
Hello all,

I'm new to BB and this forum.

I just got a hand me down 7290 with no data plan, using tmobile service, but when I go into the message folder there is no compose sms, or mms option, just compose email. What do I need to do to fix this issue?

That device is not capable of MMS. BlackBerry - BlackBerry - BlackBerry 7290 Wireless Handheld Device | With Quad-Band Smartphone, Bluetooth & Email

As for SMS, I do not know, since that is a really old device that I've never used.

Also Google BlackBerry software update T-Mobile, and download the latest software, 4.1...
