Default invalid sim

Hello i had a bold on at&t and broke it. My dad has a old 7280 from work with enterprise software that he is no longer using. When i put the sim in it says invalid sim. The old 7280 is a at&t wireless blackberry help

How did you break the bold, and did you try your sims in another device? Does he still work there, because they can remotely disable the device on the BES. Try another sim in the device to see if it works.

I tried my sim in a curve and iphone and it worked. I dopped the phone in toilet.

So if the phone was on a BES they might have locked it to where you can not use it. You can try to restore it to factory by looking it up in the fourms.

Using JL Commander or something like that, check the fourms it is in here.
