i broke it...
so i dropped it a few times, and all of a sudden the battery just randomly dies on me. itll say it has a few bars and then shut off and sometimes i can turn it back on and others i have to have it plugged in first. also some of the keys on the left hand side and the space doesnt work.
any ideas, suggestions on how to fix it would be helpful. THANKS

Walmart is dumping 9700s dirt cheap without a mail-in rebate, but their inventory is low, so call around before upgrading.

Check the marketplace here you may be able to grab another one of the same devices if you liked it and would like to avoid locking into another contract.
It seems it would cost more to repair the current one that you have then to purchase a different one.
keep it G rated!! - 06-15-2010, 01:36 PM #9
There's always the eBay option. Just buy from a reputable seller who can tell you if the phone hasn't been perma-locked to AT&T.
DO NOT BUY UNLOCKED PHONES! Why? Because unlocking them through a third party is always cheaper than the price difference between a locked phone and its unlocked equivalent.
For instance, people may ask $100 for a used Curve, but ask $180 for an unlocked one. This is ridiculous. - 07-20-2010, 08:34 AM #10
