Default Does the BlackBerry 7290 have a notification light?
I was thinking about buying one on ebay for a back up for my Bold. I'm deciding between the 8700g and the 7290 and if the 7290 doesn't have one I'll probably end up getting the 8700.

It's on the top right of the phone. It's not easy to spot if it isn't lighting up. I am not sure as to what colors it CAN be. When ever there is a notification it will just flash as red. There maybe applications to customize that, such as BerryBuzz, I believe, but I'm not sure if they would work on an old device.

After a quick look, BerryBuzz doesn't work with OS 4.1.0, which is what the 7290 will have. Looks like there isn't a way to cusomize the LED.

Thank you so much. That's why I asked, I was having a hard time spotting where it would be and it's sort of hard to find something nitpicky like that without asking on a forum or something aha.

The light's not necessarily red. It can turn green, it can turn amber, or blue.
