Clear Old Phone Number on 7520

I have a few surplus 7520's I want to sell on EBay. They still have the old SIMM cards, and even after I wipe and reset them, they display the old phone number. I don't really want to sell them with the old number on them. The old account was cancelled 6 months ago.

1. Is there any way to wipe the phone number info without removing the SIM?

2. Is there any reason someone buying it would want the old SIM card? Or should I just sell it without the SIM card?

1. that's just the information from the sim showing, so probably not.

2. i doubt that people would want to buy the sim card if the account was canceled, so you should probably sell it without the sim.

sell it without the sim card and that number usually will just stay with the phone ive seen that when we swap some old phones that cust have bought from ebay they keep that old number in the about section or w/e but it doesnt interfer with anything just like writing in a chalkboard but ya cant erase it you can override it though
