Changed my Hotmail password and now I don't get alerts.

I got hacked and had to change my hotmail password....now I don't get alerts. I went to my BB email settings and put in my email and the new password but all it said was the account is already registered. What the lump?

you need to unregister your email with your blackberry and reregister it with the new password. I had the same problem so i deleted the old email registration and started over from scratch and reregistered it and had no problems since
