Can´t connect to internet on 7290

Hi I´m a new BB user.
I bought a used bb 7290 in denmark. The guy i got it from has bought it in the US. I can make calls and text message, but I cant connect to the internet. I have downloaded desktop manager, but am not able to install Tiggitmail. I have added Opera Mini on my bb, but when I try to run it, it gives me this message: "the application operette$2dhifi has attempted to open a connection to a location inside the firewall and outside the firewall which is not allowed by your it policy".
Any ideas to solve my problem
