BB 7230 charging probs

Ok I have a BB 7230 and I can't get it to charge. I hook it up to the PC and it will come on but I hook the wall charger up and nothing.

When I connect to PC it doesn't charge it.....

Bad battery or what?

Ok I got it to come on and I can send and receive text messages but how do I make a phone call? I called it but nothing ever came up?
