BB 7230 with 587 Error - OS install not working!

I have spent nearly a whole day installing and uninstalling software. This little blue machine has beat me! I used JL_CMDER to wipe the unit as it had problems. Got the 587 error, and I have tried and tried to install an OS but it wont take. If I use Loader.exe trying to load OS 3.7 I get an error saying that the loader has to be newer to do the install. I installed BB Desktop Manager 4.7, disabling the update function, deleted the vendor.xml file, but cant get it to load.
Help please! This is just a challenge no more, no less! I dont want it to beat me!! Any assistance appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I suggest removing DM4.7. Use an older version such as 4.2
