7290 battery too low?

I charge full battery but about four or five hours down to 10% and shutdown
I dont know why but I think my phone's hardware corrupted. Someone can help me how to repair it plz thanks (Blackberry 7290 : I think it's renew China )

How old is the battery? Before suspecting a hardware problem, try using a different battery. Batteries have a limited life span, after several hundreds charge cylcles they just die away...

Also try a battery pull (remove the battery, clean any dust out of the compartment, clean the battery contacts and re-install the battery) I work in a dirty environment, and I think the contacts get grungy enough to have a bad contact.
Yeah, you may need a new battery, I'm on my 3rd.
