7290 for basic email

Hi Folks, I'm a newby to BB and I'm trying to find out if I can get a simple browser to work on this 7290 for the odd email. I have another cheap gsm phone which lets me browse on Rogers, which would let me use Gmail. Maybe BB leans on its enterprise capabilities rather than providing a simple browser that doesn't require a data plan.

You need a BlackBerry Data Plan in order to get BlackBerry Data features such as GMail and the BlackBerry Browser.
