7230 OS problem

I have a 7230 on which I cannot access the web brouser and have deleted the phone software from the phone. I have tried to reinstall the operating system using the "apploader" utility without success, all I get is a message saying "The BlackBerry Desctop Software does not have BlackBerry Device Software for the device that you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator." Can anyone help reveive me of my complete frustration? I have loaded both the "7200M_PBr4.0.0_rel224_PL1.6.1.49_A4.0.0.188" and the "7200M_PBr3.7.1_rel73_PL1.6.1.36_A3.7.1.35" versions of the OS software without success.

Thats the newest os for your device that I know of. Also, after your downloading the OS to your pc, are you installing it on your pc?

By going to the UK website, downloading the 4.0.2 OS, deleting the "vendor" file then proceeding with the update the OS was repaired. YAHOO AT LAST!
