Default WIRED doesn't even consider Berries in their buyer's guide ...

Of course, they're strictly looking at it from the consumer's point of view (not enterprise), but they still have influence ...

Wired is 100% an Apple mag.

    Even their name is outdated.
I used to be indecisive now, I'm not so sure.

I have a question on the correct plural for BB.
Should it be "Blackberries", which is the correct english, but the device is Blackberry. Or should it be "Blackberrys", which keeps the device name intact.?
    Opinions anyone?

Life was much simpler when Apple and Blackberry were just fruits

    Now, back on topic......

WIRED has successfully managed to ignore every BlackBerry since the 9800, making them irrelevant as an objective source.

Wired has had some good articles, some good reporting, over the years but when it comes to phones they're still apple fanboys.

I read a few issues of Wired when it came out many years ago, that's it. I'm surprised that rag is still around

It has gone downhill in a massively bad way. I used to love Wired, but now their magazine is more than half ads and crappy product reviews. Plus, all of the articles are on the website before they hit my mailbox. I was considering cancelling my subscription, but their ignorance of BlackBerry is really the final straw.

A Wired print subscriber? Wow. I feel like I've just seen a unicorn.

Definately a Apple biased rag .. it's no secret they dislike Blackberry.

What annoys me is Kindle Fire has glaring holes and gets a somewhat pass. RIM was crucified for a power button, no email / PIM and lack of Apps. RIM has made progress but the delay of OS 2.0 pretty much killed their holiday. Now the price matching could be a good incentive but consumers look first for content and Apps.

Ha....I scored a print subscription on SlickDeals for $1/year for Wired...amongst others.
Sure I read it online, but having the print copy is convenient.
And 5 years for 5 bucks...yeah, I went for it.

Let me guess...If they loved the 9900 Wired would be a great source for people to get their info right?

    Perhaps because it costs $200.

Hardly surprising. Their recent WIRED Apps guide notably left out BB, yet included Windows Phone 7...

It's been my observation over the years that Blackberry is left out of a majority of the online / print publications. So what's new with this one? You all should be used to it by now. Blackberry devices are generally perceived as somewhat out dated, dull and boring. Which frankly isn't that far from the truth.
