I agree - CrackBerry should have it on...

RIM needs to get with the times and stream their presentation, no one gets excited reading a live blog post and waiting for pictures to load and comments after. Real anticipation builds while watching a video and have the feeling that you're their, and getting the information as soon as the privileged press. Come on RIM don't let us down.
Love what you do - 01-06-2013, 11:19 PM #5
If Crackberry don't do it I would be amazingly surprised!!

They streamed the BlackBerry Jam Americas session where they demo'd BB10 a few months ago.
It would make no sense to have no live stream of the release. Considering the money they are putting behind BB10, a live stream would cost almost nothing. - 01-07-2013, 12:20 AM #11
...They had a live video feed for BlackBerry Jam Americas, a developer conference. Yes, obviously they will have a live video feed for the actual consumer BlackBerry 10 launch.

While I believe RIM will stream it....not streaming it live has worked for another tech company

It's true and I think the reason they don't stream it is that it actually creates more buzz because people are following live blogs and searching for news during the presentations, waiting for every bit of information. The reporters that are present also feel more "special", so they write more posts about unveiling.

They will stream it for every location of the event (at least the main event with T. Heins), so that I'd be very surprised they don't broadcast it.
But will it be live ? It's another question ... and I believe it will (should) be "soon after" if some polishing is needed ..."I speak English like a Spanish Cow"

Will BB10 launch be live streamed online?
It might be a delayed telecast / stream...

I believe they will. With a launch in 6 cities, I think they would, isn't set it stone but don't think its far fetched they would. Let's keep in mind, they streamed BBWorld online back in May. What reason could they possibly have not to?
