It is not needed... you need air not coca cola... oh but I won't come to your house unless you serve coca cola, it will however be good for the platform to have it, and i hope it gets it.

Ummmmmm. Even if no one needed it, they would still count it against it and say, "it doesn't even have netflix"

"Intel’s set-top-box will also have a camera that could be used to automatically steer content and ads toward specific users."

well, well, well.....remember that article a few months ago for the patent. "oh its just a patent it wont happen" many exclaimed.

Looks like it is coming to a living room near you perhaps sooner then you thought. "Oh well I wont get it then". Yeah yeah. Let's see how long it is before somehow have to. Will be built into all new smart TVs soon, etc I imagine. Just like it would never come close to reaching mass market in the near future and now appears it is. I guess the next logical claim/step for people is accepting/admitting that it is actually happening but saying it does not actually invade our privacy.

The end of privacy, is this taking it too far?

Actually, given that Blackberry does sell music and programmes instore now, they should just do a subscription based service themselves!! I think that would be sooo awesome!!

BB can do many things themselves... No need to rely on 3rd parties

Why I don't "need" Netflix, I would appreciate having it so I can watch it on my playbook when I'm away from home to pass the time

How is a set top box supposed to replace Netflix on a mobile device? If Intel even bother to release an app for this for BB10, it will be a remote control app like Comcast offers that lets you manage your DVR on your phone. That is not how Netflix works.

If netflix is not friendly, bb should target another company. My sister told me lovefilm is actually better so if bb can offer an alternative, that might actually work to its advantage. Surely there cant be only ne ontent providing company!

Sorry for typos am on iPad.
