    Default Walmart in-store advertising (photos)

My local Walmart (London, Ontario, Canada) is preparing for the Z10's arrival on Tuesday. As the sign notes they are accepting pre-orders now. I talked to a sales associate at Walmart and he was pretty excited about the launch, although they didn't actually have any units in stock yet - he said Tuesday. Looks like everything else is pretty much ready to go. The Blackberry phones are between the iPhone display and the Android display - all three getting equal floor space, although Apple does have more space for their iPad's and iPods beside their iPhone display.

There is advertising for BB10 right at the store entrance, hanging from the ceiling in the electronics area, and below the display model setup area.

    Thanks and like.

I was hoping someone would get pictures of this.

Wow, just wow. Everyone is going to see those signs. I pray they do this in the USA. This makes the super bowl ad look like a billboard on the side of the road.

This is going to be a really big marketing push. I know they've been saying that but i'm a little surprised to see so much advertising lol Good to see. It's essential they get the word out there.

This type of marketing is going to be light years more effective than a SuperBowl ad six weeks before the U.S. launch.

Very impressed. I hope it doesn't cost Blackberry too much!

I want the poster beneath the display. This is great marketing, the # of people flowing through Wal-Mart everyday is astounding.

I've never seen anything advertised like this with the signs on the security pillars and hanging from the ceiling in Walmart.

The Walmart Sales Associate seemed rather knowledgeable - at least he knew about the Z10 and the Q10 - he said the Q10 (keyboard model) comes in April.

For all the negativity, BlackBerry is doing a lot of the things we had hoped they would, such as good advertising. Like their slogan says, they will keep moving forward and improve.

Same set up at Wal Mart here in Oshawa, without the signs hanging from the ceiling. Cant miss the ads on the security stands at the entrance.

Good to see. Better if we see some in the States soon. That would at least soothe a few nerves.

lets just hope Walmart does the same thing in the US ! This is the type of advertising Blackberry needs to give them a jump start on BB 10 launch here in the states. I dont have high hopes that Blackberry will here all of there launches of new devices have been dismal to say the least.

    Wow, wonderful store displays.
    The retail signage looks nice.

Anyway, I'm curious, what's new in Walmart store advertising this 2014?
