Today major carrier Vodafone NL (The Netherlands) confirmed their shipping date of BlackBerry 10. Which will be in March - April

This is much later then I hoped it would be...

The source is a dutch article but you can easly find the quote of Vodafone NL stating: 'zeker te weten dat in maart of april toestellen met BlackBerry 10 geleverd kunnen worden'. Translated: It's sure that in March to April the new BlackBerry devices powered with BlackBerry 10 can and will be shiped by Vodafone.

PS: Sorry if this has been posted before, I couldn't find it anywhere.

Exactly. What the OP has posted is actually an opinion article that goes to great lengths to slam RIM.

Also in the article there is no verifiable quotes to vodaphone by way of link,video,or actual vodaphone PR, so "conformation" as stated in the thread header is FALSE, "speculation" or "opinion" is more apt.

I respectfully would suggest the OP would be more forth coming in this regard in the future and also refrain from posting two identical

RIM slam articles in two different forums.

Dont forget that back in sept heins said BB10 would launch in 3 waves. So it is very likely a lot of countries/carriers wont get the devices in feb, possibly even march

What troubles me about the article is the apparent hesitancy from other major Dutch carriers to support bb10. Good thing I'm on Vodafone but the article (which is a slam indeed) is not a good first indication for the platform here.

Pretty sure Thorsten said that BB10 will be a global launch and the phones will be available right after. If a carrier decides to carry the phone after general availability, it's not really RIMs fault.

Gosh, Dutch carriers always late, what's wrong with them? UK EE gets Z10 almost at launch and we have to wait ages. I'm sure T-Mobile NL will be even slower

Yeah, I doubt Australia will be in the first wave. I'm thinking/hoping the grey import market might have the devices available or eBay's my last resort.
