Wow. My son turns 16 in mid-March and he's been eyeballing the Z10 and dropping not-so-subtle hints. Looks like maybe it'll be in time for his bday!

I'm curious if our local Verizon will remain biased thru the USA sales of Z10 or if they'll finally come out of their shell and show an open mind. They've been downright depressing in the past.

Not sure what that means, but all the info I can find is for the infrastructure, it's inside Verizon, getting sales reps up to date and trained with it and the such.

That's interesting. I'm not sure what all that jargon means, but I'm guessing VZW is sensing an oppurtunity.

Early March, yes that would be so much better than late March, and also the fact that USA carriers are hearing more and more demand for the new product which naturally *sparks* them to compete for sooner dates.
I am going to stop in to VZ after work and ask again in person.

I bet they still tell you " we don't have any info on unreleased phones " or my personal favorite " You'll probably find out before we do" or the all time " TRY GOOGLE" LMAO! What the **** we're probably on a 4 week countdown. It'll be here soon enough.

That sounds suspiciously like Verizon is planning to pull a Bell and lock the Z10 to blackberry-specific data plans...

Just got off the phone with Verizon. The guy said usually when the coming soon banner hits the site about a phone its availble within a month. He also said there probably will be a pre-order then available in stores a week later. But of course no firm dates.

This is great to hear!!! I would like to see it early March! Now I'm not do for an upgrade till december apparently... So I'm going to buy it out right. I don't want the big *** Verizon logo on the top so I may buy one from like Amazon if they have unbranded ones. Would be cool! Thanks for sharing.

Bell is what? I thought it was just a generic data plan.

Bell mobility is registering the Z10 with a blackberry specific data access point, so that it cannot be used with any data plan except for blackberry specific plans. So your grandfathered or promotional plans will not work if you're coming from Android or iPhone.

I have to find a way to get a Z10 early rather than wait the remaining year on my Verizon contract. Hmmmm. I wonder what the cost would be to upgrade early??
