Is Verizon Seriously Considering Moving Up Their BlackBerry 10 Launch Date?
"As far as rumors go, this one may take the cake in the interesting department. According to my buddy James over at BerryFlow, the above screenshot is of an email exchanged between Verizon execs. This email suggests Big Red is actively trying to change its launch date of the BlackBerry Z10 and moving it up a whole week to Thursday, March 21st, one day before AT&T launches their Z10.
The move has obviously not been made officially as Verizon's Z10 pre-order page still shows the original March 28th date. However, if this source turns out to be right and Verizon does ultimately give the green light, they will have pretty much surprised everyone, including some of their own customers that have already pre-ordered the Z10 since yesterday.
Some people believe this move on Verizon's part would be purely aimed at beating AT&T to the punch again, and not only being able to show off their white Z10 exclusivity deal, but also claim they had it before anyone else in the U.S."

They should. They really should. It's not like anyone would be mad at them for doing it except att

Whether they move it up in the end or not, this shows the immense excitement from both carriers and customers for BlackBerry 10. It's truly a race between the carriers to get the device out first and as BlackBerry fans to have our platform of choice to be sought after so deeply after the past few years is absolutely astounding to see. BB10 is taking the world by storm!

My source said that AT&T has an agreement with BB for first release and, by that agreement, VZW was allowed exclusivity to the White Z10. If that is true not sure how VZW could move it up. (And no, my source wasn't the janitor's brother-in-law's sisters cousin
) It would be super sweet if it is true.

Shh! Many are still sore from the "storm" word.

Pretty sure that screenshot of the email between the 'executives' is from Microsoft's new Outlook.com. I could be wrong, but if that is the case, I can't see a Verizon exec sending sensitive company information to his fellow Verizon exec's Hotmail account.

I just got a call from VZW, confirming my Z10 order and she said I would have it on or before the 20th. I swear by all things holy that is what she said. So......here's hoping.

I assume he is referring to the graphical layout of the message viewing window.
Regardless, I get SO tired of all these "I have a friend who says..." threads. UGH.
The last few of those we had in regards to Verizon, they were pretty much ALL wrong.
Here's another example:
Does that mean selling, or does that mean shipping, ie actually in customer's hands???Data expands to fill all available space. Traffic increases to use all available bandwidth. - 03-14-2013, 08:41 PM #17

The only thing that makes me think this is possible is the strange line in the Verizon email "Get the new BlackBerry Z10 before anybody else". Why would you advertise that if you KNEW AT&T was going to have it out on the 22nd when you announced the 28th?? Interesting...

Now T-Mobile! If you launch now you can beat them alll!!

Hoping for an early ship date too. Just ordered my Z10 on the phone with VZ customer service. She said it ships by March 28, but I'm hoping for sooner. Com'n ship, ship, ship!!
