Not really OP. I mean, while Canadian media coverage in the past was always brief and to the point, North American media as a whole has never been a fan of RIM. After the initial flurry of stories stating plans and leaks of a BB Tablet, nothing really positive. What can they say really? If RIM manages to get out of this funk, and starts to pump out handsets that sell, along with a tablet or two......otherwise don't expect the media to let up.

Because you follow RIM closely you probably notice the omissions and/or misleading comments (verbal diarrhea) in the press. Truth be told this happens all the time. Not all reporters are "familiar" with a story and its finer details. There's more than one reason why you never want to be in the press...they are usually (but not always) IDIOTS!, and that's no acronym.
RIM needs to simplify their message not just so they know what it is but so the media can understand it. No small feat. I'm talking one or two syllable words, one idea and maybe some bacon, Mmmmmm bacon! Now where was I...

Identify specific examples of misinformation and specific examples of lies.

I think that you will find is that you are disagreeing with the spin that is given to whatever set of facts that is presented and there are no lies or even disinformation.

So, you are disagreeing with opinions.

Please add to the many threads already concerning the negative media attention towards RIM. You all wonder why so much negativity on here and this is why, everyone starts new negative threads discussing the same subject matter. Better yet find a positive article and post it and just dont worry about the negative stuff
