Default Updated model numbers and names

The following information usually comes straight from the OS. It is my own interpretation based on configuration files and libraries. The closer we are to the launch of a device, the more info we have. Some families share specs with older platforms and might be split later on.

Some devices might belong to different series, depending on who you talk to (marketing genius, dev engineers, Chen's entourage on HBO, etc.).

Also, usually, as we get closer to a release date, devices get assigned a R number and specs don't change that much after that. All the other devices are still at an early stage of development.

You want to help complete the roadmap? Send me links to OS files or autoloaders at https://twoople.com/ofutur

Really hope they haven't rebooted the slider... just make a Q10 with a taller screen

Don't be afraid to LIKE or say THANKS
What is the ultimate BlackBerry? The ultimate BlackBerry would be a device with the screen size of the Z10 along with the physical keyboard of the Q10 and the battery life of the Z30. This, would be the ultimate BlackBerry. Why they haven't built it yet remains one of the greatest mystery of BlackBerry.

OK, it seems I've made a mistake regarding the K series. King is part of the L series. There are also the AQ and Café series, but I don't have model numbers, so they're probably for much later.

Really hope they haven't rebooted the slider... just make a Q10 with a taller screen
720 x 720 ... would have to be taller and wider. Given BB's design calling for super wide bezels, you would be limited to 3.5 inches.

Why can't it just be a "taller" screen? Give it the 720p resolution. The screen exist, the tech is there but yet people are persistent that it's not doable. I'm assuming those people just don't want that type of device to exist, for whatever reason...

Rumour: R089 will release as the BlackBerry Glide.

It was recently pointed out to me that SugarSync was still in my signature, and no longer available for free. It was a nice (free) ride, SugarSync, but I'm seeing Box and Dropbox now, via BB10 integration.

That would mean that they're getting rid of the number in some of the release names of the A series. Doesn't seem logical.

My PlayBook? Very useful in the shower as a radio and notepad

Went WAY over many heads on that one. Bad case of insomnia, sorry.

No Sprint version or are we to believe the STA100-4 will also work for Sprint? If not, then what the floppy tennis ball teats will be the Sprint version?!?

I would be shocked if the Verizon model works on Sprint also. Maybe there's a STA100-5?

This is interesting. I wonder if the STA100-1 is the dual core processor model, while the 2-4 are quad cores. You absolutely don't need a quad core processor to support LTE radios, but RIM did have different processors for the Z10 2-4 than it did for STL100-1.

I wonder why the Verizon model of the A10(or whatever it will be called) is. 3 mm thicker? Has anyone found out why that is?

BlackBerry for life. Kick'n it with my Z10.
