Default Storm updates on Dec 8

I just left a verizon store because of delay issues with my storm. The rep told me that software updates will be available December 8 to fix that specific problem. So if anyone else is having that problem also, help is on the way.

Under advanced options, at the bottom of the list, there is a "Wireless Upgrade" option.

Dumb question alert:

How do I do that?

I am a new BB user and I don't know the ins and outs of doing that.

I'm looking in the advanced options and I don't see a "wireless upgrade". Would it be called something else? Or maybe I'm missing a step.

I have the wireless upgrade option, (still have .65) but it says there's no new upgrade available. It is my understanding that the wireless upgrade will only work after an upgrade is made available through verizon.

And also, here's a step-by-step for getting the "Wireless Upgrade" option.

Steps:
-------
1. Go under Options > Advanced Options > Service Book
2. Locate and highlight the item labeled "Provisioning [OTASL]" > click Menu > Delete "Provisioning [OTASL]" ((DO NOT DELETE ANYTHING ELSE!!))
3. Click Menu > Undelete
4. Repeat steps 2 & 3, 4-5 times without stopping
5. Check Options > Advanced Options = Wireless Upgrade should now be available =)

Hope that helps. Also, you can search CB forums for "Wireless Upgrade" and find the steps in other posts. Just thought I'd save you the trouble

It will be interesting to see if this fix DOES solve the problems people are having with the STORM...

I am very curious to see what the update from VZW does to improve on the leaked .75 module. It would be great if there was even more improvement.
