Honestly? Don't hold your breath. Sprint is notorious for receiving new devices incredibly late.
... and stuff!

No, Sprint will not be receiving the Storm. They may down the road, get some sort of touchscreen but it will not be the Storm.

I can, and I cannot see Sprint getting the Storm....
Reasoning is....The Storm is already CDMA, so instead of waiting for the Curve 8900 or the Bold to have a CDMA counterpart it would be easier since the Storm is already CDMA...
My reasoning for not is, Sprint dumped alot of marketing/money into the Instinct even going as far as to call it the "iPhone killer" that being said, I'm not sure if Sprint would want to take on another touchscreen phone after the extensive push of the Instinct. -

Really? The HTC Diamond and the HTC Touch pro both hit Sprint long before any other carrier. Verizon never got the diamond, the have the omnia instead, and the CRIPPLED the touch pro so bad that my xv6800 would out perform it. in a sense i guess that's a good thing because that was the decision maker on going BB
Now software updates is a whole other bag. I was running WM 6.1 on my 6800 6 months before it was released (running a sprint based rom on VZW
) verizon went 6.1 about 3 months ago. Long after I had it and well after it was released by sprint. I'd say verizon is the slow poke of the group.
Phones: HTC Apache > HTC Titan > BlackBerry Storm > Blackberry Storm 2 > iPhone 4
Tablets: Samsung Galaxy Tab > Blackberry Playbook

Agreed.
Sprint may have received the htc first, which is a nice little device, but this is only one example. As a whole, and in general, it is still a well known fact that sprint is behind as far as receiving new devices is concerned.

Isn't Sprint getting the CDMA Bold before VZW?
Bold OS: .162 --> .167 --> .185 --> .190 --> .194 --> .201 --> .210 --> .214 --> .215 --> .216 --> .217 -->.219 --> .234 --> .301 (Current OS) --> .WhatsNext

As a whole - Outside of BB - WM - and Palm what other Smartphone is there (Apple doesnt count) ----
Sprint may maybe late with releasing STORM, but actually I am thanking god for that, because the STORM is a laggy buggy JOKE! Verizon is taking alot of heat for putting that mess out. STORM and Verizon loyalist will never admit that its JUNK!
Atleast we know when Sprint releases phones they're uncrippled and feature loaded.
I can't wait to see the look on verizon subs faces when they see that Sprint will have an exclusive on the CDMA Bold. This is a fact
