Sprint just released PM update

According to my local branch, where I frequent enough to get a call. They just got an update for picture mail sent to them. I will be loading it soon from them. Anyone know the actual release date for customers?

Also any news on when or if Sprint is gonna carry the Storm? Thanks

If this is the case, I'm sure the update will be pushed to our devices soon. As far as the Storm, don't hold your breath. Its a Verizon exclusive based on a sales quota. The only way another CDMA carrier is going to get it is if Verizon can't meet the sales quota.

Well my phone now has an option for mms and sms.

And if you're holding your breath for the Storm on Sprint, not to worry. You will turn an interesting shade of blue in a little while, but when you pass out, your body will automatically begin breathing on its own.

I got an email from Sprint last week about an update, but deleted it since I had already updated to 4.5. Is there another update coming that will allow REAL picturmail, i.e. is Sprint gonna push an actual mms client to us?

Sprint came out with the 4.5.131 update, which includes the MMS update.

Wait, so before this update, you people haven't been able to receive picture messages to your phone...what's the point of them selling phones with included cameras.
