I am super excited for a new Playbook. I am now very optimistic that we could see BB10 on our current Playbook's very soon.
I hope that they have a 7" and 10"

I feel like we need more info or proof on who this guy is. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy reading his tweets but it could just be some guy getting everyone riled up. I would really like some solid proof.

At best, it will be a 'limited distribution" afterthought like PlayBook LTE.

Very ambiguous and questionable as the z10 and x10 will have different specs no? Also screen size is a spec and it won't be 4.2

Let's just say I'm nowhere near convinced at this stage. The poster on CB needs to provide real and verifiable evidence he is the same as the poster on Twitter

Thorsten did say 'tablets' plural when he talked about future offerings "While the mix and level of service fees revenue will change going forward and will be under pressure over the next year during this transition, but we are targeting to grow service revenue in smartphones, tablets and embedded application to a new offering with new partners and across platforms other than BlackBerry 10"

Well I assume he is talking about the processor and quality of specs. The screen size will obviously be different.

I can see a new PlayBook for sure coming out next year, maybe mid 2013 would be best. Need time for BB10 to marinate in it's awesomeness with the masses.

I'm pretty certain that the guy is legit. If this guy isn't as credible as he is leading us to believe than kudos to him because he will have fooled me.

I'm guessing that more major devices will be announced or released at BlackBerry World in May. That would make BlackBerry World really stick out in my opinion.

I would hate to be Debbie Downer but I wish RIM would focus 100% on BlackBerry 10 phones at this point of the time line instead of putting more money into a PlayBook. IMO the PlayBook failed! Even with my PlayBook being able to install a few android apps( a yr later) but none are the apps I want! No instagram, no skype,etc.

That all depends on how many newer apps will require heftier specs. Brand new beefy hi-def games designed to take advantage of features found on newer hardware will. Regular little apps won't.

Early next year doesn't cut it for me, unless they mean no later than March, and tell us a formal tablet launch date ON Jan 30th. See, I'm not actually going to commit to a phone contract with a z10 unless I know for certain when I will be able to use a bb10 tablet.

If they do not do this, that will make blackberry the only company who can't deliver me both a smartphone and tablet running the latest OS. If they don't do it because they are actually unable to do it.... Well that's not exactly encouraging either.

Well I think we'll see if he is real very soon since he said that he is going to be beta testing a BB10 app and he is getting the bar file tonight and he will post screenshots from it. As well guys he said to not be dissapointed if Skype is not their for launch which pretty much tells us that it won't be there because of Microsoft being afraid of a little competition.
